The Model XR2 is a shockless, pulsed, DC system that emits pulsing waves of ions from dedicated negative and positive emitters.
The waves of ions propel each other outwards away from the bar towards the static charged surface. The charge on the surface attracts the ions of the opposite polarity, combining and neutralizing the charge on the surface, at the same time repelling unneeded ions of the same polarity.

Model XR2 Bar Specifications
Construction: Rigid polymer body, long lasting and easy to clean
Size: 2.125" (54 mm) width x 2.25" (57 mm) depth x the length of the bar. Bars are available in lengths: 10" (254 mm), 20" (508 mm), 30" (762 mm), 40" (1016 mm), 50" (1270 mm), 60" (1524 mm), 70" (1778 mm), 80" (2032 mm), 90" (2286 mm), 100" (2540 mm), 110" (2794 mm). Multiple bars may be connected and powered by a single standard electrical source with optional junction box.
Emitters: Tungsten emitters in polypropylene housing provide dependable, long life service. Pins have dedicated positive and negative ion outputs. Plug-in, shockless emitters are field replaceable by user if lost or damaged.
Cable: In protective nylon conduit; 10 foot (3 m) standard. Up to 30 foot (9 m) may be specified. Plastic cable mount clips are included.
Mounting: Adjustable studs in T-slot on backside of bar.
Connections: Multiple bars can be powered by the controller with the use of seperate junction boxes.
Model XR2 Controller Specifications
Frequency: Use a slow frequency setting for distance ranges of 3 feet (914 mm) or over and faster frequency settings for closer distances, e.g. 1 ft (305 mm). Optimal operating distance ranges from minimum 1 ft (305 mm) up to 3 ft (914 mm).
Polarity Balance: If the static charge varies, set a balance output. If static is constant, the balance can be adjusted 80:20 in each polarity for better performance.
Voltage: Variable from 0-14 kV output. Set full power for 14 kV except in sensitive electronic applications.
Input Voltage: Standard 115 V 50/60 Hz or standard 24 V DC; optional 230 V 50/60 Hz.
Output Voltage: Variable 0-14 kV DC.
Amperage: 35-volt amps starting load; 7-volt amps running.
Alarm Indicator Light: Flashes to indicate warning and service needed conditions.
Remote Control: Remote on/off and alarm signals available through DIN connector.
Size: 8.75" (222 mm) W x 7" (178 mm) L x 2.75" (70 mm) D.
